New Events and Updates for the New Year
Friends heard about some of the upcoming events in 2022 and brief updates on recent past event topics.

Dear Friends
May I offer my most sincere wishes that you have had a restful Christmas season despite the difficulties everyone has been facing.
This time last year, I am sure that we all hoped (and thought) the vaccine breakthroughs that were appearing would have allowed resumption of social life and, in particular, allow us face-to-face meetings of Friends of Imperial College back in South Kensington. Sad to say that is not to be for now. Nonetheless, we have planned an event programme ahead including a return to the College in due course both for lectures and Behind-the-Scenes visits to research groups. We have also lined up some exciting trips to major scientific laboratories and research institutes exclusively for Members and their guests.
We thought it may be of interest for everyone to hear about some of the upcoming events in 2022 and brief updates on recent past event topics. We hope you enjoyed hearing about them.
